In order to safely and securely tap into the F3800's battery port, I designed a 3D printed connector that uses 5.5mm bullet connectors as the terminals. This is not an exact replica of the OEM plug, but it performs more than well enough to do the same job. It does fit the port very tightly, so be sure to press it in as far as it goes.
This is the "Dual Complete Package". This essentially combines two "Complete Packages" into one streamlined and universal solution, enabling you to safely connect both of your Anker F3800's internal batteries to any external 51.2V LiFePO4 battery bank. These connections are all handled by one central hub that can be up and running in 5 minutes, without any specialized tools or expertise (just a philips-head screwdriver!).
This package includes two "Assembled Connectors" with your selected length of 10AWG wire. Available wire lengths: 3 ft, 6 ft, or 10 ft (length applies to both cables). These are routed and installed into a high-quality DIN enclosure, which contains a 100A two-pole DC breaker for each F3800. This not only protects both sets of batteries and cables from overcurrent and short circuit independently, it also acts as a manual disconnect switch that fully isolates each Anker system and the external battery bank from one another. The breakers' outputs are combined into one set of 200A terminals, which will bolt to any standard wire lugs / ring terminals. Most 51.2V LiFePO4 battery packs come with wires that will fit these terminals, but if you do need some, feel free to contact me - I can throw in some 1/0AWG cables for a small extra fee.
There are several other configurations to choose from (listed separately):
- "DIY Kit" includes all the parts needed to assemble the connector yourself, after soldering on your own selection of wiring.
- "Assembled Connector" is the fully assembled connector, ready to go out of the box. It comes with 10AWG x 4 tinned copper wires pre-soldered.
- "Complete Package" is the single system version of this package. It includes the fully assembled connector, plus one 100A two-pole DC breaker and enclosure, fully wired up and ready to connect directly to any 51.2V LiFePO4 battery.
