In order to safely and securely tap into the F3800's battery port, I designed a 3D printed connector that uses 5.5mm bullet connectors as the terminals. This is not an exact replica of the OEM plug, but it performs more than well enough to do the same job. It does fit the port very tightly, so be sure to press it in as far as it goes.
This is the "Complete Package". It is the most streamlined and universal solution, enabling you to safely connect any 51.2V LiFePO4 battery to your Anker F3800 system in under 5 minutes, without the need for special tools or knowledge.
In addition to everything that comes with the "Assembled Connector", this package also includes a 100A two-pole DC breaker, wired and installed into in a high-quality DIN enclosure. This not only protects the batteries and cable from overcurrent and short circuit, it also acts as a manual disconnect switch that fully isolates the Anker system and the external batteries from one another. Available wire lengths: 3 ft, 6 ft, or 10 ft. Other lengths of wire are available upon request.
There are several other configurations to choose from (listed separately):
- "DIY Kit" includes all the parts needed to assemble the connector yourself, after soldering on your own selection of wiring.
- "Assembled Connector" is the fully assembled connector, ready to go out of the box. It comes pre-soldered with 10AWG x 4 tin-plated pure copper wires.
Note: By default, the other end of the wires will come terminated with M8 (5/16") ring terminals. If you'd like a different terminal type (Anderson 120A, XT90, etc.), or any other type of customization, please contact me directly and we'll work something out!
